The research program on Policy, Political Economy, and Violence (PPEV) seeks to foster theoretically innovative and empirically rigorous research on politics within the realms of public policy, the economy, and conflict. By thinking of these areas broadly, it encourages dialogue across traditional sub-fields in political science and strives for dynamic exchanges unbounded by domestic and international distinctions. To promote these discussions and collaborations, the program organizes research presentations from both prominent visitors and department faculty and graduate students.
Organized by Christine Lipsmeyer and Amy Pond.
