The Executive Master of Public Service and Administration Program (EMPSA) offers Homeland Security, Nonprofit Management, and Public Management. It is a rigorous 39 graduate credit hour, non-thesis executive degree program offered through Bush School online. At a minimum, there are two required weeks in residence at Texas A&M University in College Station. Hence, the EMPSA program prepares principled leaders who have the critical skills, knowledge, and expertise to excel and lead. Specifically, students lead in homeland security, nonprofit enterprises, or public management.

The Certificate in Advanced International Affairs is an innovative way for individuals to acquire knowledge in international relations that supports a wide range of careers in a highly connected world. Presently, it’s available with optional emphasis areas including diplomacy, defense policy and military affairs, and intelligence.

The Certificate in Homeland Security meets rapidly growing educational needs in the area of homeland security strategy, policy, and operations. Therefore, the five-course program combines a broad understanding of homeland security issues at the national level, with an in-depth analysis of key issues affecting federal, state, and local government, as well as the private sector. Students have the option of tailoring their program to achieve an emphasis in one of the following areas: Homeland Security Policy and Management, National Security Policy, Emergency Management / Crisis Preparedness, Critical Infrastructure Protection, or Border Security. The Certificate in Nonprofit Management prepares the next generation of leaders to be effective managers of nonprofit organizations. Presently, it’s available with optional emphasis areas including fundraising and philanthropy, fiscal and performance management, and leadership and management.

The Certificate in Public Management focuses on the capabilities required for effective, ethical leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors. Geospatial intelligence (GeoINT) is a rapidly emerging field that leverages human intelligence and geospatial technologies in the support of national security and other intelligence activities.
