Candidates for the Bush School Outstanding Alumni Award will be evaluated on their professional experience, service and support of the Bush School and Texas A&M University. Nominators are encouraged to highlight in their responses how the candidate reflects the core values of Texas A&M University – excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service.
During his lifetime, George H.W. Bush, 41st President of the United States and namesake of the School, stated that public service is a “noble calling” and “that a successful life, by definition includes service to others.” Graduates of the Bush School are individuals who have decided to devote a significant portion of their lives to improving the well-being of others through public and civic action.
Nominations are accepted each spring for Alumni who have been graduated for a minimum of 5 years. The Outstanding Alumni Award recipient will be celebrated at a luncheon to be scheduled in the fall semester.
