Admissions Overview

Applicants are responsible for seeing that all application materials are uploaded into Texas A&M’s applicant portal or delivered to the Bush School’s Admissions Office by the deadline. Only complete applications will be reviewed by faculty committees. Applicants can check the UniCAS Application Portal to view documents that have been uploaded and check their status, but Bush School Admissions will send you an official email notification of a complete file. Look for our email updates and please be patient with us as we process incoming applications.

MPSA and MIA

The Bush School admits students into the signature, 2-year MPSA and MIA programs once a year. We open the application each August and make decisions by March for fall enrollment. We do not have spring or summer enrollment.

Students submitting completed applications for the MPSA and MIA by the priority funding deadline of December 15 will be given full consideration for both University and Bush School merit scholarships and will be considered for partial travel reimbursement to attend their respective Interview Conference Weekends.

The Bush School may continue to accept applications into the spring on a space available basis. Updates will be posted here and you can contact us directly for updates.

MIA-MPH

The application process for applicants applying to the MIA-MPH combined degree program entails two separate applications to both the School of Public Health and to the Bush School. We admit for fall admission only, so plan appropriately. For complete instructions, check out the MIA-MPH Admissions page.

MIP

Rolling admissions makes the process more flexible for the one-year MIP, with spring, summer, and fall enrollment. No merit aid is offered for this program and to apply, you must have four or more years of professional experience in the field of international affairs (broadly understood).

If you have questions about the admissions process or timeline, you can reach the Admissions Office at 979-862-3476 or at bushschooladmissions@tamu.edu.
