Advising Hours for Spring 2025 

The Office of Undergraduate Programs & Advising at the Bush School of Government & Public Service is located at the Allen Building suite 1112. We are open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Our amazing academic advisors provide advising to admitted undergraduate students in Political Science, International Affairs, and Public Service & Administration. Our academic advisors are here to help you achieve your academic goals and support you on your journey towards earning a degree.

January 2-8

  1. Drop-in advising hours only: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-11:30am, 1:15pm-4:00pm
  2. No availability January 9th due to a New Student Conference.

January 10-22

  1. Drop-in advising hours only: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-11:30am, 1:15pm-4:00pm
  2. No availability January 20th due to Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Day

Starting January 23 

  1. Appointments: Monday-Friday, 9am-11:30am

    • Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Change of Major (Curriculum)

Currently admitted students at Texas A&M University who are interested in changing their major to a degree program, or adding a minor, at the Bush School are encouraged to meet with an undergraduate advisor. The advising office offers walk-in hours every weekday starting at 1:15 PM.

Prospective Students

Prospective students (anyone not currently enrolled or previously enrolled at Texas A&M) are encouraged to schedule an appointment with our office prior to their visit. Contact our office directly at (979) 458-7039 or email us bushschooluginfo@tamu.edu.

Readmission Students

Students that were previously enrolled that left Texas A&M University, regardless of their previous major, are encouraged to met with our Director of Advising, Andy Armstrong. For availability, please email andyarmstrong01@tamu.edu.
