Advising Hours for Spring 2026

The Office of Undergraduate Programs & Advising at the Bush School of Government & Public Service is located at the Allen Building suite 1112. The advising office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Our award-winning academic advisors guide admitted undergraduate students in International Affairs, Political Science, and Public Service and Administration. The advising team is here to help you achieve your academic goals and support your journey towards earning a degree.

See below for our advising availability:

January 2-16

  • Drop-in advising hours only: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-11:30am, 1:15pm-4:00pm
  • No availability January 8th due to a New Student Conference.
  • No availability January 19th due to Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Day (University holiday)

Starting January 20 

  • Appointments: Monday-Friday, 9am-11:30am
    •  How to make an appointment
    • When making an appointment leave a comment about what you want to discuss with an advisor!
    • Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Please check-in at the front desk in Allen Building suite 1112.
  • Drop-ins: Monday-Friday, 1:15pm-4pm

March 26-April 10 (during preregistration)

  •  Drop-in advising hours only: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-11:30am, 1:15pm-4:00pm

Prospective Students

Prospective students (anyone not currently enrolled or previously enrolled at Texas A&M) are encouraged to schedule an appointment with our office prior to their visit. Contact our office directly at (979) 458-7039 or email us bushschooluginfo@tamu.edu.


Readmission Students

Students who were previously enrolled and left Texas A&M University, regardless of their previous major, are encouraged to meet with our Director of Advising, Andy Armstrong. For availability, please email andyarmstrong01@tamu.edu.
