I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at Texas A&M University and hold my Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Sao Paulo. My research fields are Comparative Politics, American Politics--I believe CP and AP have a lot to learn from one another--and Political Methodology. My research lies primarily in elections, particularly in how aspects of the political context affect both voting behavior and elites' decisions. I have papers on electoral reform, the impact of electoral systems on party system fragmentation, polarization and economic voting, political realignment, and crisis and voting behavior.
