Qiang (Steven) is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science, Texas A&M University. His research focuses on international political economy, economic statecraft, and great power rivalry. He has work experience in China, including at the Foreign Affairs Committee, National People’s Congress, and at Peking University. He holds an M.A. in International Economics and China Studies from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, an M.A. in Economics from Kyoto University, an M.A. in International Relations, and a B.A. in Political Science from Peking University.
