Sam Sharman is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University. Sam specializes in comparative politics and the domestic sources of international relations. His research focuses on political institutions and the survival of political leaders. He studies both what causes leaders to keep or lose power and how leaders' abilities to survive influence political outcomes.
