Area of Specialty: Comparative Politics, International Relations, Methods
Welcome! I am a political science student at the Texas A&M University. I study international relations and comparative politics, with a special focus on the political economy of higher education and the globalization of education industry. In my work, I apply a variety of methods, including statistical analysis, qualitative archival work, and network analysis. My dissertation develops a new theory of the political economy of higher education. Empirically, it consists of three related chapters: the political economy of international branch campuses, leaders’ education and political reforms, and the impacts of international students’ enrollment on the U.S. economy.
