Duncan Espenshade is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University. His research fields are individual-level decision-making, international political economy, and international policy. In particular, he studies migration, with projects focusing on how state capacity influences migration policy in the developing world or how interdependencies in occupational threats influence opposition to immigration.
