Master of International Policy

The Master of International Policy is a mid-career, non-thesis master’s degree offered fully in residence on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, TX or at the Washington, D.C. teaching site. The degree is a total of 30 graduate credit hours and can be completed in an eleven-month period. The MIP aims to strengthen students’ abilities to understand complex issues in global affairs and build upon their existing knowledge from working in the field.
Because the MIP is designed for mid-career professionals, applicants must have a minimum of four years of professional experience in international affairs to apply to the program at either location. Those with a strong academic record and broad operational experience in diplomacy, intelligence, nuclear security, cyber security, grand strategy, conflict and development, international economic development, and regional studies in Middle East, Europe, China, or Latin America will find strong relevancy in the degree.
Prospective students interested in pursuing the MIP degree must apply to the program at the campus they wish to enroll (MIP-College Station, TX or MIP-Washington, DC).
