The mission of Women in Public Service (WIPS) is to provide support and resources in the form of an organization while upholding the mission of the Bush School by inspiring excellence and confidence in members to pursue the noble calling of a career in public service. WIPS is a Bush School Partnered organization and is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
Club events include meetings every other Wednesday and include speakers who are women in public service, professional workshops, and leadership summits.
This organization is open to all students in good standing at Texas A&M and the Bush School with a 2.0 GPA or higher. Recruitment occurs at the beginning of each semester and members must apply and pay dues to confirm membership into the club.
