Wendi Kaspar is a professor in International Affairs at the Bush School of Government & Public Service. She joined Texas A&M University in 1996 and received tenure in 2002. In addition to serving as a professor in the Bush School, Kaspar has served as a Policy Science & Economics Librarian at Texas A&M where she has held a number of additional administrative roles in the Library College, including Assistant Director of Access Services, Coordinator of Outreach Services and Liaison, Coordinator of Electronic Reference Services, and English Liaison Librarian. In the past, she has also served as the Editor of College & Research Libraries and co-Editor of Journal of Academic Librarianship and Library Leadership & Management.
Her research interests include human resources and management in libraries, information fluency and scholarship or teaching and learning. She has written several books, numerous articles and book chapters. Kaspar received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon. She earned an MLS from the University of Washington and an MS in Management from Texas A&M's Mays School of Business.
