
Suzanne White
Ms. Suzanne White has over 30 years of experience in the Federal Government and industry, including 15 years at the most senior levels of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). She served as the Deputy Director of DIA from October 2018 to August 2024, managing a workforce of more than 16,500 military and civilian employees in over 140 locations worldwide as they executed DIA’s mission. While in this position, Ms. White served as a consistent and steady deputy under three DIA Directors; through two major reorganizations; during the pandemic and crises in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel; and through a change in Presidential Administration. She directed the allocation of several billion dollars annually across numerous activities and drove analysis of the fiscal and operational environment to support the shift of DIA’s focus and resources from counterterrorism toward Asia, posturing DIA for long-term effectiveness and the potential for a conflict in the Pacific.
Ms. White also served as DIA’s Chief of Staff and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for several DIA Directors, exercising an exceptionally wide and complex range of responsibilities to ensure the timely satisfaction of DIA’s current requirements while developing the plans, process improvements and strategies that prepared the Agency to meet future requirements. As CFO, Ms. White was the principal advisor to DIA Directors on Intelligence Community financial and acquisition matters and managed DIA’s multi-billion-dollar budget, contracting and audit activities.
Before joining DIA, Ms. White served as the director of the multi-billion-dollar Military Intelligence Program for the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and was a program examiner for the Office of Management and Budget, overseeing the budgets for several intelligence agencies and various Department of Defense programs, notably during the aftermath of the 9/11 a[acks. Ms. White’s industry positions included manager of strategic planning with General Dynamics Corporation and internal auditor with Banque Nationale de Paris.
Ms. White received her bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and her master’s degree from the Fletcher School at Tu]s University.
