
Jane Lincove, Ph.D. will give a talk, “Teacher Pay in a Competitive Market,” on April 23 at Texas A&M University
BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION, TX – An expert on teacher pay, and how charter schools in New Orleans have affected pay in that city, will present her research April 23 at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
The talk, “Teacher Pay in a Competitive Market,” is part of the Education Policy Workshops series hosted by the Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics, and Public Policy. Jane Lincove, Ph.D., a University of Maryland, Baltimore County public-policy professor “and her co-authors investigate how large-scale expansion of charter schools and deregulation of teacher employment rules affected teacher compensation,” according to the Mosbacher Institute.
