On November 11, Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University is hosting a Lunch a Learn with Dr. Christine Crudo Blackburn at 12:00 pm. During this talk, Blackburn will discuss her most recent book Consequences of COID-19: A One Health Approach to the Responses, Challenges, and Lessons Learned.
The goal of the book is to present a holistic approach to understanding the response to COVID-19 in 2020. The book covers a variety of topics ranging from disease spillover, education impacts, supply chains and the possibility of developing an early warning system for pandemics. The book also examines a one health approach to pandemic preparedness, emphasizing that the health of animals, people and the environment are all intertwined.
