Thirty-two graduates of the Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) program at the Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University, were recently inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the honor society for outstanding students in public affairs. The organization has chapters at 162 universities, including the Bush School, each of which is a member of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA), the global standard in public service education.
Pi Alpha Alpha recognizes and promotes excellence in the study and practice of public affairs and administration. Members are selected on the basis of their high performance in graduate school which has prepared them for public service careers, and who represent the society’s ideals of integrity, professionalism and creative performance.

Pi Alpha Alpha is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, the coordinating agency for collegiate honor societies which is dedicated to maintaining high standards for the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in higher education.
