Dr. Dorsey, Professor in the Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences, is a scholar who writes on how presidential rhetoric helps create and construct American identity. He has written extensively about President Theodore Roosevelt and has been featured as an invited scholar in the History Channel’s Theodore Roosevelt Television Documentary. Dr. Dorsey brings a deep and rich experience in university administration to the Bush School. His most recent position was Associate Dean for Undergraduate Student Success and Advising in the College of Arts and Sciences. He previously served as Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts, Associate Head of Communications, and Interim Head of Journalism at Texas A&M, and completed a four-year term as Chair of the Communications Department at the University of Memphis.
