Berlin Airlift and the Making of the Cold War
The Albritton Center for Grand Strategy and the Texas A&M University Libraries present a symposium commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift. Join us at Evans Library for discussion panels examining the dramatic events of the airlift, the division of Germany in the late 1940s, and the legacies of the airlift and early Cold War, followed by a reception and exhibit honoring “Aggies in the Airlift” in Cushing Library.
Panels begin at 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. (open to the public)
