FIRST YEAR OF MPSA / FOURTH YEAR AT TAMU
In the student’s fourth year, they are still classified as U4 undergraduate students. As a result, students are charged undergraduate tuition and fees for their fourth year (first year in the 3+2 program). For an estimate, students can check their past billing records to determine the tuition and fees charged in their first three years at Texas A&M. Or, students can use the Texas A&M Tuition Calculator.
Be sure to take into consideration the $1,000 Bush School Scholarship and any other undergraduate scholarships you might have for an accurate overall cost.
SECOND YEAR OF MPSA / FIFTH YEAR AT TAMU
During the summer between the first and second year of the 3+2 MPSA Degree program (between the fourth and fifth year at Texas A&M), a student’s classification is updated from a U4 (undergraduate) to G7 (graduate). As a result, the student is charged graduate tuition/fees. Additionally, Bush School funding and a non-resident tuition waiver (if applicable) is applied.
Considering the typical course load each semester is 4 courses/12 credit hours taken in-residence at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, estimated tuition and required fees for the student’s second year in the MPSA (fifth year at TAMU is as follows:
- Texas Residents: $13,573 per year
- Non-residents: $13,573 per year (after non-resident tuition waived)
- International students: $17,848 per year (after non-resident tuition waived)
Optional fees (such as sports passes, parking passes, etc) are extra and not included in the estimate above.
