
Jerry Laurienti

Jerry Laurienti has more than two decades in the national security sector, including at the CIA, the Department of State, and the Department of Defense. His deepest expertise is as a Senior Executive in the Intelligence Community (IC), where he has led substantial workforce and programmatic endeavors with significant focus on Africa, Latin America, and the Near East.
Laurienti is a recognized leader in the IC, having served as the Chief of Staff to CIA’s Chief Operating Officer and as a recipient of numerous awards for leadership and management, including the DCIA Mentoring Award. Laurienti’s experience includes managing extensive analytic efforts to support the President of the United States. He earned his Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of Denver Korbel School and is the author of the book The US Military and Human Rights Promotion: Lessons from Latin America.
