David Kanin
Adjunct Lecturer - Bush School DC
Dr. David Kanin joined the Bush School of Government and Public Service in the fall of 2020 and teaches at the Texas A&M Washington, DC, Teaching Site. Before joining the Bush School, Kanin had a thirty-one-year career in the CIA, including positions as Director of Long-Range Identity Studies, Senior Political Analyst on Interagency Balkan Task Force, and Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Europe. After retiring from the CIA, Kanin served as Analytic Director for CENTRA Technology, where he remained in close contact with the CIA, FBI, DNI, and DHS. Kanin received his Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy and his PhD in international politics from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
