The Certificate in Advanced International Affairs (CAIA) is an outstanding addition to the resume of anyone interested in a career in international relations, intelligence, defense policy, military affairs, counterterrorism, diplomacy, international organizations, law enforcement, international business, or international economic development. Courses are taught by nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty members, oftentimes accompanied with a student presence of full time working professionals who bring unique experiences and expertise to the classroom. The CAIA is taught fully in residence at the Bush School DC.
Curriculum
The Certificate in Advanced International Affairs is a 12-credit-hour program. To fulfill the certificate requirements, students will complete any 4 in-person courses offered at Bush School-DC that best fit their career plans.

A bachelor’s degree.

Students will have access to dedicated one-on-one career counseling with our Director of Enrollment Management, Career and Student Services.
Writing Resources:
The Bush School DC provides writing services to help students with academic and professional writing. Appointments can be in person or online.
Bush School DC Library:
The Bush School DC provides an in-house librarian to help students with any research needs. In addition to our collection of library resources, students have access to Texas A&M’s vast digital and library collections.
