Philip Gentile

Philip Gentile joined the Bush School of Government and Public Service in the fall of 2020 and teaches at the Texas A&M Washington, DC, Teaching Site. Prior to this, Gentile served as a Senior Intelligence Officer for over thirty-five years, which included a thirty-three-year career in the Marine Corps, where he completed several tours as Chief of Staff to the Director of the Marine Corps Intelligence and as the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps Intelligence Center. Upon retirement from the military, Gentile served as a consultant to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Gentile holds a Master of Military Science from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.
