The Center for Nonprofits & Philanthropy (CNP) at the Bush School of Government & Public Service, Texas A&M University, is delighted to announce the appointment of its newest member of the CNP Advisory Board, Roxanne Saldaña Jones.
Roxanne Saldaña Jones leads the voluntary state association of local United Ways in Texas as the President and CEO of United Ways of Texas (UWT), where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to community service. With nearly 60 members across the state, UWT serves as the collective voice of a system that strives toward collaborative and lasting community-level change.
Roxanne is an established convener with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, working in various capacities. She is well-versed in community collaboration, strategic growth models, community needs assessments, business planning, management of cross-sector collaboration, and other proven efforts that support community and nonprofit growth. With a background in management, she has coordinated the combined United Way campaigns for the State of Texas and the City of Austin and served as a private strategic consultant. A native of Austin, Roxanne attended the University of Texas at Austin and St. Edward’s University, holding a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Business Administration.
With her extensive experience in nonprofit management and philanthropy, Roxanne’s wealth of knowledge and passion for making a positive impact will aid the CNP Advisory Board in helping us better serve nonprofits in Texas and beyond.
