On February 10, 2024, the Bush School participated in its second annual Aggieland Saturday. Aggieland Saturday is Texas A&M University’s largest campus-wide open house where prospective students, their families, and former students can come together and learn more about what Texas A&M has to offer. On this day, there are over 200 information sessions, campus tours, performances, and demonstrations that successfully embody the culture and spirit of A&M.
This year, the special event kicked off with a special welcome from President Mark A. Welsh III, Student Body President Andrew Applewhite, and the Yell Leaders. Guests had the opportunity to shop at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship’s student marketplace and be guided by current students on tours exploring some key landmarks such as Aggie Park, the Memorial Student Center (MSC), and TAMU University Libraries.
This year, the Bush School hosted its own activities for the second time in Aggieland Saturday history. Events included the Bachelor of International Affairs and Political Science programs presentations. Additionally, leaders from student organizations at the Bush School shared ways to get involved and find community once attending Texas A&M at several resource tables.
The Allen Building lobby bustled with excitement as prospective students were able to conversate with Bush School staff, faculty, and students, learning about the distinguishing characteristics that make Texas A&M exceptional.
Throughout the year, Texas A&M and the Bush School will continue hosting campus tours, special events, and information sessions for prospective students to discover more about the opportunities that await them once coming to A&M.
