With the support of its local and regional partners, the European Union Center organizes and sponsors conferences, seminars, and other scholarly programs for the University, as well as outreach programs for local and regional communities to promote a better understanding of the European Union and the transatlantic relationship. EU Center events have included scholarly symposia, conferences, and seminars for Texas A&M University faculty and students; educational programs for students in college, junior college, and grades 6-12; educational workshops for teachers; regional business seminars; community lectures; and panel discussions open to the public. See Upcoming Events and Past Events for information on all of the EU Center’s programs.
Working closely with the Houston Consular Corps, educational and academic groups, and others in the wider community and beyond, the EU Center also offers the community and students in particular an opportunity to interact with policy makers, civil servants, and experts at Texas A&M University and from the European Union region.
