Each Bush School master’s degree prepares principled leaders for public service, while differing in focus, audience, and format. Select a program to explore its curriculum, tracks, and outcomes.
Master of International Affairs (MIA)
A two-year residential degree in international affairs, with tracks in national security and diplomacy or international development and economic policy, a client capstone, and a summer internship or language immersion.
Master of Public Service & Administration (MPSA)
A two-year, NASPAA-accredited degree developing leaders for the public and nonprofit sectors, with tracks in nonprofit management, public management, and public policy analysis, with a summer internship and a year-long client capstone.
Master of Science in Political Science (MS)
A research-focused master’s offering rigorous analytical and quantitative training, preparing graduates for careers in analysis, consulting, and data, or a path to doctoral study.
Master of International Policy (MIP)
An accelerated master’s degree for experienced international affairs professionals, with tracks in National Security, Intelligence & Regional Studies (D.C.), National Security & Diplomacy (TX), or International Development & Economic Policy (TX).
Master of National Security & Intelligence (NSI)
A degree for early- and mid-career professionals entering national security, intelligence, and diplomacy, with a client capstone and language proficiency, taught in the heart of Washington, D.C..
Executive Master of Public Service & Administration (EMPSA)
An online executive degree for experienced public service leaders, with tracks in homeland security, nonprofit management, and public management, and an applied capstone. Online with two short residencies.
