Biography

Dr. Kenneth Anderson Taylor is as an Associate Professor of the Practice and served as the Director of Outreach and Professional Development within the Bush School’s Center for Nonprofits and Philanthropy from 2017 to 2026. Prior to landing at Texas A&M University, Dr. Taylor was the Program Director and Assistant Professor of Nonprofit Leadership Studies at Murray State University.

Dr. Taylor serves within the school’s Public Service and Administration department, with teaching responsibilities for graduate and undergraduate students pursuing academic tracks in nonprofit management, public management, and public policy analysis. In his prior role with the Center for Nonprofits and Philanthropy, Dr. Taylor focused on building continuing and professional education certificates, fee-based professional development trainings, and a variety of grant funded projects.

Dr. Taylor earned his MBA in Management from Bellarmine University’s Rubel School of Business and holds a BA in Sociology from the same institution. His PhD in Leadership Studies is from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. Dr. Taylor is a Credentialed Mediator in the state of Texas.
