
Dr. Laron Williams, a 2008 graduate of the Bush School‘s Department of Political Science Ph.D. program, was recently named Professor of the Year in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Missouri. Williams joined the political science department, which is now a part of the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs, in 2011.
“Laron was an outstanding student in our Ph.D. program and it’s been a great pleasure to watch him progress throughout his career,” Interim Head of the Political Science Department at the Bush School Dr. Guy Whitten said. “This award is a nice recognition of all of his hard work and dedication to his students.”
Williams serves as a professor and the Director of Ph.D. Programs at the Truman School.
