Retired Ambassador Larry Napper and Dr. Mohammad Tabaar will kick off the fall semester of Great Decisions facilitating a discussion on Middle East Realignment: Turkey and Iran’s Roles in the Continuing Crisis in Syria.

The discussion will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at 6PM in the George Bush Presidential Library.

The Great Decisions series, the flagship program of the Foreign Policy Association, is the longest-running and largest grass-roots foreign policy discussion program in America. The Bush School of Government and Public Service launched the first group in the Brazos Valley earlier this year.

Ambassador Larry Napper, Director of the Scowcroft Institute, Senior Lecturer at the Bush School, and former Ambassador to Kazakhstan, recently served on a Council on Foreign Relations task force on U.S.-Turkey relations. Dr. Mohammad Tabaar, Bush School Assistant Professor for Middle East studies, has lectured and published extensively in both academic and mass media publications on a wide range of Middle Eastern and Iranian issues. The two will lead the dialogue by offering their perspectives and then facilitating whole group discussion.

While the event is open to the public, seating is limited. Please RSVP by sending an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
