April 13, 2012

The 2012 Ansary Foreign Policy Conference, “Global Trends 2030: The Future of American Power,” is scheduled for May 1-3.  The conference, sponsored jointly by the Bush School’s Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs and the National Intelligence Council, will feature discussion and analysis of the National Intelligence Council’s Global Trends 2030, a major report focusing on how economic trends intersect with global security strategies.  The report is the latest in the Global Trends series, the premiere unclassified long range intelligence estimates produced by the U.S. intelligence community. The gathering of policy experts could produce observations and recommendations that will affect the final version of this key intelligence report.

The three panel discussions featured during the conference are free and open to the entire community, but registration is required. All panels will occur in the Presidential Conference Center, which is part of the Bush Library and Museum complex on the Texas A&M University campus.  Please register no later than April 27, 2012.
