Ms. Kimberly Winarski has been selected as an International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Local Government Management Fellow

Ms. Kimberly Winarski has been selected as an International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Local Government Management Fellow and will serve the City of Anna, Texas, subsequent to graduation in May 2020. Winarski’s full-time two-year management-track position will report directly to the City’s Assistant City Manager, while she works on key assignments, one of which is to create a Neighbor Support Office. She will also work on advancing and expanding key economic and social service programs.

Winarski is one of six select fellows serving in the Midwest ICMA region and was chosen among an extremely talented group of professionals with master’s degrees in public administration, public policy, and public affairs from NASPAA accredited schools. Winarski currently serves as a graduate research assistant under Dr. Kent Portney; interned in the City Manager’s office in Palm Bay, Florida; and is Co-chair of the Bush School ICMA Student Chapter.

The ICMA Local Government Fellowship Program is dedicated to mentoring and professional development of emerging local government leaders. Congratulations to Ms. Kimberly Winarski’s for her well-deserved and earned honor.
