Department of Political Science to Launch “Hall of Fame”
Texas A&M proudly celebrates the achievements of its Former Students across the university, but until now, the Department of Political Science has lacked a dedicated way to highlight its own alumni’s extraordinary impact. That’s about to change: the Department is launching the inaugural “Hall of Fame,” a new honor recognizing the most notable Former Students who have excelled in their fields and made a lasting mark on their communities.
“We’re constantly impressed by the incredible range of accomplishments among our Former Students,” says Department Head Dr. Guy Whitten. “The Hall of Fame gives us a formal opportunity to recognize them and to share their stories and achievements with the next generation of students on campus.” This initiative will shine a spotlight on alumni whose careers and service inspire current students and faculty alike.
