Originally a social worker, Catherine Cole serves as adjunct faculty at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. She currently leads Capstone projects in the department of Government and Public Service for the Online EMPSA and MPSA degree programs. Dr. Cole has worked both domestically and internationally within the nonprofit sector. Domestically, she has managed diverse programming including Meals on Wheels, WIC, and Head Start. Internationally, Dr. Cole has worked for Catholic Relief Services and World Vision United States conducting internal audits of international operations, directing budgeting and forecasting, and leading strategic planning. In 2008 she led the in-house fraud examination of $1.9 million in unsupported U.S. Agency for International Development funds on-the-ground in Liberia and liaised with the Attorney General’s office. Dr. Cole’s passion is using evidence and measurement to advocate effective solutions for social problems.
