Political Science Minors
Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science offers five different minors for students outside of the department. Students must complete an application (link below) to declare one of the minors. Minor applications are reviewed weekly by the Office of Undergraduate Programs and Advising. An academic advisor will provide you with a response for your minor application.
Political Science – Legal Foundations (LFND)
Summary: Study the fundamental principles and concepts underlying legal systems, exploring constitutional law, jurisprudence, and legal frameworks to comprehend the role of law in shaping societal norms and governance.

Political Science – Global Politics (GBPL)
Summary: The Global Affairs minor equips students to analyze the world’s diverse political systems and the interactions among nation states. This program includes study in international organizations and non-state actors, governance, diplomacy, conflict resolution, and the dynamics of globalization on a global scale.
