Because the Bush School believes in the power that stems from developing an individual's leadership potential, involvement in the Public Service Leadership Program is a core aspect of a student's educational experience. The Program makes a commitment to InVEST in each student's leadership development by providing the following opportunities:
- Individualized Planning for lifelong leadership growth through education, strategic planning, feedback and coaching;
- Values-based Commitment for personal and professional growth leading to a life-long commitment to integrity in public service;
- Experiential Development through leadership workshops, seminars, and conversations with influential leaders in the public and private sectors;
- Self-awareness built through highly regarded assessment tools and self-study; and
- Timely Involvement in development opportunities through education, training, Bush School and University organizations, service opportunities, and mentorship that contributes to an effective leadership development experience.
