Bush School Dean Mark A. Welsh received the Ike Skelton Legacy Award on November 12, presented by Wentworth Military Academy and College in Lexington, Missouri, Skelton’s alma mater. The award recognizes individuals who emulate Skelton’s life in service to nation, state, and community.


November 15, 2016

Dr. Ellie Heng Qu joined the Bush School as an assistant professor in the Master of Public Service and Administration (MSPA) program in the fall of 2016.


November 11, 2016

The Public Service Organization (PSO) and Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University is honoring veterans and active duty service members with a Veteran’s Wall, created to recognize the military service of students, faculty, and staff.


November 08, 2016

Natural disasters or conflicts around the world have increased the need to assist those whose lives have been disrupted or, in many cases, destroyed. Eighteen students at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University will now be aiding that effort as they design and prepare proposals for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to improve programs and help the organization apply for much-needed grants to support its work.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will join the faculty of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University as an executive professor and John D. White ’70 Distinguished Professor of Practice.

Master of Public Service and Administration students from the Bush School traveled to the FBI office in Houston to begin work on a capstone project. The team briefed their concept of research and then conducted a question and answer session with intelligence analysts and special agents as part of their joint project with the Bureau.
