Dr. Raymond Robertson has assumed the Mosbacher Director position at the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Robertson will help the institute produce innovative policy research and education and training to decision makers.

Bush School students Metra Mehran, Erin Prejean, and Zein Haikal attended the 62nd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York City as delegates of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF). The CSW62 took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from March 12 to 23, 2018.

Student researchers at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University examining the possible links between gender issues and radicalization recently received first place in their category at Texas A&M’s Student Research Week. The research is part of a capstone project that all second-year Bush School students are required to complete before they graduate.

Dean Mark Welsh announced the Bush School will offer a new Master of International Policy at the Texas A&M University Bush School of Government and Public Service. Designed as a non-thesis master’s degree program for mid-career professionals, the degree will require the completion of 30 credit hours.

Bush School Dean Mark Welsh has announced that Dr. Andrew Morriss, Dean of the University’s School of Innovation, or I-School, and Vice President for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, has joined the faculty of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University has moved higher in the national rankings of schools of public affairs, according to a report published by U.S. News & World Report.  The Bush School ranks 16th among public schools listed in the survey, 28th overall.

As women around the world celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2018, there are data demonstrating that true gender parity will not be a reality for many years. The good news is there is now global activism for women’s equality fueled by movements like #MeToo, #TimesUp, and more. Women are making positive gains, and there is a strong and growing movement of advocacy, activism, and support.
