Hours after news of a bombing attack in a Brussels’ airport and subway station by ISIS terrorists last Tuesday, Dean Ryan Crocker took the stage at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center, Texas A&M University, for a panel discussion entitled “What Lies Ahead? Considerations for Future Middle East Policy and Decision Making.” Crocker is a decorated ambassador to six Middle Eastern countries, including Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

On March 8, 2016, the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service will host Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the Baylor College of Medicine and president of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, who will present “Fighting Twenty-First Century Disease through Vaccine Diplomacy.” The event will take place at 6 p.m. in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

On Thursday, March 3, 2016, the Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics, and Public Policy, will host a discussion titled, “Restoring Trust: Financial Crises and Regulatory Responses in the Bush Era and Beyond.” The event will feature the Honorable Richard C. Breeden, former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission and former assistant to the president for issues analysis, and will include a conversation with Donald E. Powell, former chairman of the FDIC.
