Dean Ryan Crocker has announced the appointment of Dr. F. Gregory Gause, III, as the first head of the Department of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University.  As professor of international affairs, Gause also will hold the John H. Lindsey ‘44 Chair at the School.

But Dean Ryan Crocker, former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, says America has a responsibility to aid the Iraqi people in the struggle for democracy and the fight against extremism.
