Engel Receives Society of Historians of American Foreign Relations Honor
Professor Jeffrey A. Engel has been named the 2012 winner of the Society of Historians of American Foreign Relations Stuart L. Bernath Lecture Prize, annually offered to the outstanding scholar in the field under the age of 41. Past winners of the award include H.W. Brands, Frederik Logevall, Douglas Brinkley, and Richard Immerman. Dr. Engel’s Bernath Lecture will be offered at the 2013 meeting of the Organization of American Historians and subsequently published in Diplomatic History.
