Statistics for the Class of 2017

The summer has flown by and we have wrapped another exciting year for Admissions here at the Bush School. We’ve enrolled our largest degree class ever, the Class of 2017, with 170 entering students for Fall 2015. Our Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) and our Master of International Affairs (MIA), brought in 77 and 90 students each, and we maintained our consistent, competitive averages. Let me break out some of the stats below:

Merit stats:
  • PSAA 3.36 GPA; 303 GRE
  • INTA 3.48 GPA; 312 GRE

  • 21 different Texas institutions represented (83 students)
    • 16 students are TAMU POLS/ECON/INTS/SOCI undergrads joining our 5-yr programs
  • 57 U.S. institutions outside of Texas represented (63 students)
  • 21 international institutions (23 students)
    • Countries represented in international enrollment = Afghanistan-3, Argentina, China-4, Ecuador-2, India, Indonesia, Korea-2, Kazakhstan, Mexico-2, Mongolia, Pakistan-2, United Kingdom-2, Venezuela
