Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) Aid
Bush School scholarships are merit-based aid for which all applicants are considered. They are currently awarded in increments of $15,000 to $1,000 a year and renewed and prorated for the second year (if students maintain a preset GPA). Competitive second-year students may disavow the scholarship in place of a graduate assistantship (about a dozen are available) in year two if they choose. Additional Texas A&M University fellowships are also available to extremely competitive and/or qualified applicants. These awards are worth approximately $25,000 per year. Incoming students are also considered for a one-time technology scholarship that helps procure a laptop computer. As a result of these generous considerations, all scholarship recipients pay resident tuition and fees.
The cost of 24 hours of coursework (1 year) for a Bush School student is currently $10,300. As indicated before, scholarships qualify students for in-state rates, thus saving non-residents approximately $7,000 a year.
The combination of low-cost tuition and fees and dedicated scholarship support for Bush School students makes the Master of Public Service & Administration program at Texas A&M University very affordable.
