Master's Program in International Affairs (MPIA) Aid
Bush School scholarships are merit-based aid for which all applicants are considered. They are currently awarded in levels from $1K to $15K in the first year and renewed and prorated for the second year (if students maintain a preset GPA). About a dozen graduate assistantships are available to second-year students based on merit and qualifications. Additional Texas A&M University and Robertson Foundation for Government fellowships are also available to extremely competitive and/or qualified applicants; these awards are worth approximately $30,000 per year. In addition, out-of-state students are issued non-resident tuition waivers that allow them to pay Texas rates, saving them over $7,500 per year.
The cost of one year/24 hours of coursework for a Bush School student is currently $11,000; remember, that's applicable to all students because of the non-resident tuition waivers.
This combination of low-cost tuition and fees and dedicated scholarship support make the MPIA at Texas A&M University very affordable.
