Nonprofit Management Program — Houston
The Bush School's graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management (CNPM) is offered in Houston through a partnership with the United Way of Greater Houston, Management Assistance Program. All courses are offered at the Community Resource Center, 50 Waugh Drive, Houston, Texas 77007 [Map].
The Certificate Program
The Certificate in Nonprofit Management consists of 4 Texas A&M University graduate courses (12 credit hours). Faculty members teaching the courses in Houston are a mix of practitioners and academics with expertise in the nonprofit field. The curriculum is rigorous, cutting edge, research-based, and applicable for current and emerging leaders in nonprofit management.
Students receive graduate credit from Texas A&M University for the coursework.
Cost
The estimated cost for a Texas resident is approximately $1850 per course. Tuition and fees are contingent on approval and modification by the Texas Board of Regents. Financial aid is available.
Scholarships are available for students who receive matching funds from a sponsoring agency. Bush School scholarships of $500 per course may be provided to those individuals who secure matching funds from their agency. Scholarship funds are applied towards the tuition and fees for courses offered at the United Way facility in Houston as part of the graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Students can receive up to $2000 in matching funds from the Bush School towards the CNPM. The funds are provided on a per course basis and are intended to continue through the completion of the certificate.
Academic Requirements
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and it is desirable to have professional experience in the field.
