Apply Texas Instructions
Go to www.applytexas.org. The Apply Texas page will open in a new page.
You must first create an account to get your username and password.
Fill out all information on the above page then "Save Profile."
Log in using the username you provided and the password you chose.
Create a new application.
Click on the "create a new graduate school admissions application" bar.
Be sure to pick "Texas A&M University" and "Graduate US"
from the drop down menu.
Select the semester you want to begin your studies and click "continue."
Select the certificate you would like to apply for in the drop down menu: CAIA (Certificate in Advanced International Affairs), CHLS (Certificate in Homeland Security) or CNPM (Certificate in Nonprofit Management). These are listed in the drop down menu in alphabetical order
using the certificate code.
Be sure you are aware of the application deadline for
the certificate you are seeking.
Be sure to fill in ALL personal information on this page and the following pages and click on "save changes" at the end of each page
Make sure you select the certificate from the drop down menu at #17, "Degree you will seek." Then fill out test scores of any graduate/professional school entrance exams you have taken.
Proceed to next page and fill in all college information for colleges attended and degrees received.
Fill in info thru page 4 then check and make any corrections on
page 5 of the application.
Be sure to answer all required questions on page 7 and click "Save,Acknowledge Question." Page 7 will continue reappearing until all questions have been acknowledged and saved.
This page will appear when all questions have been answered. Click the "save and complete this page" bar.
Next write and attach your essay following the
directions on the next page.
Read the certification of information statement. Pay the application fee, and be sure to submit your application!
