Coming Threats from Pandemic Disease and International Health Security: Humanitarian Response Planning and Supply Chain Requirements for 2019-2024
8:45 - 11:00 a.m.
National Press Club, Holman Lounge

Pandemic threats are coming and donor governments are not acting with enough urgency to prepare for and meet these threats. International health security threats, including biothreats and other hazards, are gaining momentum and heightened scale. They are evolving into a high-threat probability. Unfortunately, international commitments and multilateral partnerships meant to mitigate these dangers are dissolving, and no replacement mechanisms are being proffered. This conference is an opportunity for the experts to address these gaps in our preparedness and to seek solutions to the major risks ahead.
