Degree Admissions

MPSA/MIA Applications:

The Bush School’s Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) and Master of International Affairs (MIA) programs admit yearly for fall enrollment (no spring option). The priority application deadline for fall 2019 enrollment is January 15, 2019. Students submitting completed applications by this date will be given full consideration for both Texas A&M University and Bush School merit scholarships and will be considered for partial travel reimbursement to attend their respective Interview Conference.

The Bush School may continue to accept applications past this priority date on a space available basis. Typically, for the MIA that date has been until mid-February and for the MPSA until May. Please contact us at bushschooladmissions@tamu.edu or call 979-862-3476 or 979-862-8841 to speak with Kathryn Meyer or Stacy Hayes for updates on the current process. Just know that most significant scholarship awards are made in March.

Applicants are responsible for seeing that all application materials are uploaded into Texas A&M’s Applicant Information System (AIS) and/or the Bush School’s Admissions Office by the priority deadline. Only complete applications will be reviewed by the faculty committees. Application requirements and instructions are available on the requirements page. Applicants will be notified by the Bush School once their application is complete.

MIP Application:

The Bush School’s one-year Master of International Policy (MIP) admits those with six years or more of international experience for both spring and fall enrollment. The priority application deadline for January 2019 enrollment is October 15 and August 2019 enrollment is April 15. Students will follow the same application instructions as posted for the MPSA/MIA (see the paragraph above), using this MIP Checklist to help you apply. Please contact Kathryn or Stacy in the Admissions Office or at 979-862-3476 if you have questions.
